D'n'A
D’n’A is our drug and alcohol counselling service for 16 – 25 year olds who are experiencing difficulties in accessing and maintaining housing as a result of their drug and/or alcohol problems. D’n’A - run in partnership with Surrey & Borders NHS Foundation Trust - provides a service centred around young people which is easily accessible and meets a variety of needs in a way that is individually tailored to each young person.
The D'n'A service offers:

one off information sessions

harm reduction advice, support and counselling for drug and alcohol related issues

advice on housing issues and support in maintaining and accessing housing

advocacy work to include information, advice and support for health problems, education, employment, legal problems and relationships/family issues

information and advice for parents/guardians and families

referrals to and help to access other services
-
access to young person's healthcare and prescribing
-
access to HIV, Hepatitis B & C testing and Hepatitis B vaccinations

relapse prevention work
-
overdose prevention
-
urine drug testing
-
access to community detox
A young person can refer themselves to D’n’A or anyone can make a referral on their behalf including; a parent or guardian, professional acting on behalf of a young person or agencies working in partnership with the D’n’A project.
