Christmas and Easter gift donations
Many of our clients stay in our Accommodation Projects over the Christmas period because they are unable to return home to their family for a variety of reasons. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for them, and so we do our best to ensure that we make the day special by ensuring that each young person receives a gift and we sit down together to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Easter is another feast which we like to mark by giving the young people an Easter Egg, and again we are very grateful to receive any financial (or chocolate!) donations in the run up to Easter.
We cannot make these days special without your help - each year we rely on the generosity of our supporters for Christmas and Easter gifts for our clients. There's no need to wait until just before the event - we are always happy to take pledges for donations or items, even turkeys in August!
Here's our 'Wish List' of the Christmas gifts our young people would be delighted to receive. It would be helpful to note that we have a 70/30 split of men to women and so need roughly twice as many gifts for men as for women.
