    Thoughts, Meditations and Prayers

In today's multi-cultural society we are well aware that we receive support from people in all walks of life, from various faith groups or no faith group at all.

We recognise that people use different methods to think, meditate or pray as a way of directing their thoughts. Therefore, no matter how you personally like to consider and reflect on how you can help, you may find the following of help.

    Our Clients

    • need inner strength to overcome the challenges that they are facing. Many of our clients have experienced significant challenges, and when they come to us they are in a desperate situation.
    • Courage, strength and patience are needed so that they can develop as individuals and progress in a structured way towards independent living.

Our staff, management team and management committee

    • need wisdom, understanding, skills and talents so that they can make the best decisions for providing the care and support necessary for our young people.
    • wisdom and insight to ensure the continued development of the organisation and the services we provide as we work to achieve our mission "to empower homeless people and those facing adversity to achieve their full potential".
    • Adequate funds to meet our significant running costs. The majority of our projects cost more to run than the funding which is provided by central government. These need to be filled during the course of the year.
    • Our greatest hope is that one day there will be no need for Step by Step and that the issue of homelessness is no longer one of the biggest social issues crippling communities across the country.

Many thanks from all of us at Step by Step.
