Local business Keelan Westall raises over £11,000 for Step by Step

As part of their relationship with Step by Step, Keelan Westall, the property insurance providers based in Bordon, pledged to raise at least £10,000 by the end of August this year.

They fulfilled this very generous pledge magnificently at their 10th Anniversary Summer Party at Farnham Castle on August 4th. In fact, they have raised a total of £11,233, which will be matched by Martin Oliver, the CEO of their parent company, The Barbon Group.

Over 120 guests - including Step by Step's Amanda Dubarry and Gill Butler - attended the event and enjoyed a hog roast, an auction and raffle which raised over £3000, a disco and a guest appearance by Britain’s Got Talent stars, Stavros Flatley, (otherwise known as Demetri Demetriou and his son Lagi). Gill Butler said “We knew there was a mystery celebrity guest lined up but this was a total surprise. All the guests loved it, especially when they persuaded Nick Sharpe, Wayne Tonge and Mark Armitage of Keelan Westall to join them on the dance floor."

"We are thrilled with this partnership with Keelan Westall," she added, "and congratulate everyone for their generosity in raising such a huge amount of money for Step by Step. It will go directly into the training programmes we run to help clients on the pathway to independent living”.
