Jingle Jog Success
Wednesday 7th December 2016
Step by Step's first Jingle Jog was a resounding success!
On the 4th of December around 120 Jingle Joggers joined Step by Step at Stauton Country Park in Havant for our first fancy dress fun run.
The Jingle Jog was our first event in Havant where we are providing services to young people through shared Foyer accommodation, in addition to Supported Lodgings placements in the area.
We were delighted that so many local people got behind the event and chose to support us by participating, promoting, and volunteering at the run. We were excited to see the photographs of the event, particularly as the first team to arrive at the Jingle Jog had dressed as a full Christmas Dinner including sprouts, a cracker, and gift!
Jingle Jog 2016 has raised around £2000 to date which could accommodate 71 young people on Christmas Day. Thank you to all who took part, our event sponsors and warm-up team Active4Less, Waitrose Havant and Really Hungry for feeding and watering the runners, to Basepoint Camberley for matching £500 of the funds raised, our volunteer team, and everyone who sponsored our joggers.

We are thoroughly looking forward to next year's event where we will be anticipating some competitive fancy dress now that the bar has been set.
