What is foster care?
Foster care changes lives. It offers children and young people a caring and supportive home when their biological families are unable to look after them. A child might be placed in foster care on a temporary or permanent basis. Foster carers offer compassion and kindness, providing a nurturing home and ensuring that a young person’s emotional wellbeing and developmental needs are met.
Who is this information evening for?
This is a friendly, no-commitment event for anyone who is interested in learning more about fostering. We welcome people from all walks of life to consider becoming foster carers.
Join Sarah, Step by Step Fostering's Registered Manager for an insightful introduction to what you can expect as a foster carer, the support and training you'll receive, and who Step by Step Fostering are. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the call where you can ask Sarah anything you'd like to know about fostering.
