This is a
great time to be part of Step by Step (registered charity number 900308) and
join us as the new Company Secretary.
We are respected and trusted for what we do – simply, to reduce homelessness amongst young people in our area. With a refreshed Board, a passionate leadership team and new strategy, you have the opportunity to play a highly important role in our well-established charity.
Family breakdown, physical and mental health, exclusion from school are just some of the reasons why young people can find themselves homeless. With 11,000 young people estimated to be homeless in the southeast of England alone, Step by Step seeks to help those based across Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Wiltshire and Berkshire find a way out before they fall into a life with little hope. By working with them ensuring that they have somewhere safe to sleep and live and by providing some essential life skills together we really can transform lives.
If you have
2-3 days per month available and able to attend six board meetings a year, are
ideally a member (or retired member) of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries
and Administrators or have a degree/significance experience in business, law,
accountancy or public administration - we would like to hear from you.
For further information about this role, including a full candidate pack, email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you would like a preliminary conversation regarding this opportunity email our chairman at email@example.com - and we will come back to you.
