Step by Step has a brand-new exciting role for a Social Worker who is interested in working in an Independent Fostering Agency (IFA).
SBS are looking for someone who wants to develop their career and become a Registered Manager.

You will have scope to develop your role and the way Step by Step proceed on this exciting new venture for the charity.
You will be working with a team of friendly professionals, who will be able to support your Marketing, HR and Finance needs.

What Step by Step can offer you
What would you be doing?
Step by step will create a brand-new Independent Fostering Agency and want a social worker to work with the team to establish an IFA.
Once the IFA has been set up and you have qualified as a Registered Manager you would be responsible for;
What is Step by Step looking for?
As Social Worker you will be educated to degree level with a professional Social Work qualification, and you must want to work towards a management qualification level 5 approved by OFSTED (paid for by SBS) to become HCPC registered. This will require signing up for the course within 6 months and completing the course within 3 years.
You will have with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in family placements in a fostering environment and experience of working in a supervisory role, the ability to work under pressure and excellent communication and management skills.
