Step by Step has four brand new Support Worker roles in our new foyer in Totton. These are part time – two roles are 24 hours a week, and two roles are 32 hours per week.

Step by Step passionately believes in supporting young people who are going through hard times. Our unique step by step approach, providing accommodation, personal development opportunities and specialist support services, identifies and fulfils aspirations.
Each year we work with over 1,500 young people aged 11–25 and our Support Workers play a pivotal role in empowering young people and preventing homelessness.
The Step by Step team are positive, dynamic, professional, and committed to empowering young people to fulfil their full potential.
What would you be doing?
As a Support Worker, you will have the responsibility for ensuring that young people accessing the service receive both opportunity and advocacy and that they can develop their skills and talents in a manner that empowers them to go on and access employment and/or educational facilities, whilst continuing to take on more responsibilities and to achieve and maintain independence.
