On Saturday 1st February, local musicians took to the stage to support ‘Bagstock’ – a charity fundraiser in aid of Step by Step. Mark, Sarah and Jake from The Kings Arms in Bagshot kindly gifted the venue free of charge to support young people facing hard times.
Abi Powell Music helped to organize the event after hearing about Step and Step and services it offered local young people experiencing homelessness.
Over 10 performers filled the day with an eclectic mix of music, entertaining crowds for hours. The acts and The Kings Arms helped to raise over £400.
Local businessman, Kevin Tuck of AMET, kindly donated £250 to show his support for the charity, and the performers who provided such a fun-filled Saturday.
Jenna Grant, Corporate Partnerships Officer at Step by Step, commented, “Well done to all the performers who kindly gave up their Saturday to perform for a great cause. Extended thanks to our Corporate Partner – The Kings Arms in Bagshot – who kindly hosted the event. Your support is helping local young people going through hard times. Great effort all!”
A huge thank you to the following acts:
Thanks also to Tesco Aldershot who kindly
sponsored some raffle prizes to help boost fundraising efforts.
