Our Golf Team Challenge was a great success, raising over £3,000 to help give local young people a brighter future. Sixteen teams of keen golfers took to the renowned course at Camberley Heath to raise funds on the fairway.
The beautiful greens at Camberley Health – one of the top 100 courses in England – were complimented by blue skies and unwavering sunshine. The golfers enjoyed competitive play in stunning scenery, fuelled by a bacon roll breakfast and rewarded with an evening barbeque. There were prizes for the best teams and individual players.
Throughout the fairway fun, everyone was mindful of the young people they were helping to support – young people going through hard times and at risk of homelessness.
Tianah Bibby, Step by Step Community Fundraiser, commented: “We were so lucky with the weather and the beautiful surroundings, but even more lucky to have such fantastic support from participants, sponsors and local clubs. Everyone involved can be proud of helping to make the event such a success.”
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing sponsors:
