Help Say Game Over to Youth Homelessness

  • 10 March 2021

Step by Step are getting involved in a new fundraising initiative, inviting gamers of all abilities to help raise money for young people facing homelessness.

Gaming for Good is a national gaming festival taking place between 2nd April to 17th April 2021. Anyone can take part – whether you’re a novice gamer just wanting to have a bit of fun, or a hardcore enthusiast wanting to show off your skills. Participants can get sponsored by friends or family, or host their own gaming night, to raise vital funds for this pressing cause.

Gaming for Good is organised by End Youth Homelessness, a coalition of local youth homelessness charities, including Step by Step. We think it’s a great new way to get involved in supporting the hundreds of young people we work with each year.

Taking part in Gaming for Good is simple – just select a game of your choice and invite friends, family, colleagues and followers to join you in raising money for Step by Step. The festival will culminate in a Grand Finale on Saturday 17th April, featuring prizes, young people’s stories and the chance to interact with influencers.

Why not try to raise £121 to represent the 121,000 young people who are homeless each year?
