Our Open Doors Christmas appeal is now live, asking members of the public, community groups and companies to help us accommodate and support young people over the festive period.
Every year, thousands of young people in the UK find themselves homeless, often through family breakdown, escaping abuse or leaving care with nowhere else to go. Christmas is an especially tough time to be homeless and for many young people is a stark reminder of the family life they are missing out on.
Step by Step operates 365 days a year, offering accommodation and specialist support services for young people facing the prospect of homelessness. This time of year is no exception, and our teams of STEP Workers and Hosts work hard give young people the closest thing they can have to a family Christmas.
You can help make a difference by donating to our Open Doors campaign. Just £30 will accommodate and support a young person for a day.
Help us give safety and stability to 272 young people this Christmas and beyond.
