Taking place between 9th and 15th September, Remember a Charity Week 2024 is a chance to talk about the huge impact of leaving a gift to charity in your will.
We’ve teamed up with Remember a Charity to make adding a charity to your will easier than you think. They list a wide range of charities and there are guides on informing a solicitor of your wishes. There is even a discounted will-writing service available.
For Step by Step, a legacy gift could make a huge difference to young people facing homelessness.
Jennifer Westmoreland, Fundraising Manager, explains: “These very special gifts play a vital role in funding our work and instrumental in helping young people turn their lives around. If you're thinking of making or updating a Will, our partnership with Remember a Charity can help you get started. Once you've provided for your own family and loved ones, please consider including a gift to Step by Step.”
Anne is one of our amazing legacy donors. “It was surprising that being homeless was something that could happen to a child, on our doorstep… I hope my legacy will help more young people to find a safe space in which to grow up and become independent.”
