FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION
You will receive from £140 per week, which is made up of rent and a support fee
FULL TRAINING
You will be fully trained to work in a person-centred way. Training includes online and face-to-face, and a yearly training update
ONGOING SUPPORT
You will receive ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated Support Worker and a 24-hour line for emergencies

We will ask for a tour of your home and to see the room that the young person would occupy, and to discuss Supported Lodgings in more detail
You will complete a form asking about you, your family, your lifestyle, experiences, and the reasons you would like to become a host. We also require you to complete an e-learning course
We will require personal and professional references for you and, if relevant, your partner, as well as DBS checks for anyone over 18 living in your home
We will assess your understanding of specific things and will provide further training if needed
The panel assesses the information gathered to date and ‘sign off’ hosts as being ready to offer Supported Lodgings
We work carefully as a team to match the right young person to the host. You will then meet to discuss joint expectations and house rules
You will be allocated a Support Worker to work alongside you and the young person, and receive yearly training
