IMPACT REPORT 2019-20
Our 2019-20 Impact Report gives concise insight into youth homelessness, unemployment and mental health in the UK, and how Step by Step are helping young people navigate these challenges.
IMPACT REPORT 2018-19
We are proud to present this brief overview of our work and successes over the last financial year, focusing on the impact we have made in preventing homelessness, supporting mental health issues, and readying young people for work or education.
IMPACT REPORT 2016-17
We are excited to publish our most recent Impact Report. 1845 young people were supported by Step by Step during the year with a further 3500 reached through Peer Education and Community Presentations.
SOCIAL RETURN ON INVESTMENT
We set out to understand and quantify the social outcomes of our charity. To achieve this, we undertook a Social Return on Investment study and found that every £1 we spend results in £5.60 of social good.
Funded by Guildford and Waverley Care Commissioning Group (CCG), the Invest service was created in response to the identified need that for many young people a referral to one to one counselling provision was not the most appropriate solution.
IMPACT REPORT 2015-16
During 2015-16 we reached out across three counties and supported over 1,325 young people and their families. We were involved in educating a further 2,950 young people about the dangers and realities of homelessness through our peer education work.
IMPACT REPORT 2014-15
This report provides a snapshot of our work and positive impact in the year 2014-15. It charts the progress we are making in achieving our five year goal to double the number of young people we help and triple our bed capacity.
