First and Next Steps sessions are run through a mix of 1:1 and group work. Sessions are accredited through the AQA unit award scheme, so young people achieve a nationally recognised certificate that they can add to a CV.
First Steps sessions cover life skills and personal development. Young people work on self-esteem and confidence, money management, sexual health and relationships, personal health, and healthy eating.
Next Steps sessions explore items including team building, developing communication skills, other cultures, and volunteering opportunities.
