Join us for a relaxed coffee morning on Tuesday 27 January 2026 to find out how you could open your home to a young person in need of stability and support. Hosted by Step by Step, this friendly, informal session is the perfect opportunity to explore whether hosting or fostering could be right for you.
You’ll meet members of our experienced team, chat with current foster carers and hosts, and get honest answers to your questions – all over a cuppa and some cake.

This event is open to individuals, couples and families across Hampshire, Surrey, Wiltshire, West Berkshire, West Sussex and Dorset. You don’t need any previous experience – just a willingness to make a difference.
We welcome the Government announcement of a new comprehensive homelessness strategy, including £3.5 billion investment over the next three years.
But its success will depend upon how much it offers a joined-up approach and a clear route from homelessness to independent living.
