We accept referrals from a range of people who have a safeguarding or support role in a young person’s life:

Step by Step offers a range of services across Hampshire, Surrey, West Berkshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and West Sussex. You can refer a young person for:
Foyers and Shared Accommodation: For young people aged 16–24 who are homeless or at risk.
Supported Lodgings: For 16–21 year olds needing a family-style environment to develop life skills.
Counselling: Free, confidential support for ages 11–25 in Hampshire and Surrey.
Emotional Wellbeing Support: Non-clinical guidance to manage anxiety, stress, or low mood.
One-to-one support for housing and homelessness, emotional wellbeing, substance recovery, getting into work and education, sexual health, and more...
Specialist placements and support for young people needing a foster family or therapeutic placement.
We work with young people aged 11-25 across the South of England.
Referrals can be made by professionals, parents, carers, and in some cases, by young people themselves.
No – while many referrals come through social workers or local authorities, we accept referrals from schools, GPs, parents and youth workers too.
