Step by Step provides fostering placements for children and young people aged 0 to 18 who are unable to live at home. As a not-for-profit fostering agency, any income we generate is reinvested directly into our wider charity services, helping even more young people in need.
We support children and young people from a wide range of backgrounds, including those new to foster care, care experienced and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC).
We offer short and long term fostering, respite fostering, and parent and child fostering.
Operating across Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Berkshire and West Sussex, we work closely with local authorities to provide safe, nurturing homes that help children and young people grow in confidence and stability. Where appropriate, some foster carers may choose to continue providing support beyond 18 through either a Staying Put arrangement or through our Supported Lodgings service.
