Your voice matters. That’s why we launched Speak Out - a youth-led forum for all young people. It doesn’t matter if you’re with us now, have been in the past, or just care about making things better for young people.
Speak Out empowers you to share your experiences, raise issues that affect you or others, and help shape the support that Step by Step provides. This is your chance to influence change.
You’ll meet regularly with other young people and Step by Step staff to discuss what's working and what could be better. Your insights help improve services for everyone.
You’re the expert in your own life. Your perspective can spark real change - from how services are delivered to the campaigns we run.
You'll have a direct say in the support we offer, the decisions that are made, and even get involved in projects and campaigns.
You’ll team up with other young people who want to make a difference, develop your communication skills, and grow your confidence in speaking up.
Join a supportive community of young people who care about creating a better future - for themselves and for others.
Speak Out is open to anyone aged 11-25 who lives in Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex. You don’t have to be with Step by Step to be part of the change. All young people are welcome.
Be the hero who drives change. When you speak out, you help shape the future for yourself and others. Join the Speak Out forum and take a stand against youth homelessness and the challenges young people face.
Together, we can make a difference.
