Brave Skydivers Jump for Step by Step

Our first ever Hero Skydive proved to be a fantastic success, raising over £9,500 for young people facing homelessness.

The Step by Step Hero Skydive saw nine brave participants gather at Salisbury Airfield for what was to be an unforgettable day. Everyone was in high spirits (with perhaps a tinge of nervousness!) as they received their training and safety briefing, before they boarded the aeroplane that would take them to a terror-inducing 13,500 feet.

Everyone made the jump and landed back safety, thrilled to have overcome such a heart-pounding challenge and proving themselves to be true heroes taking a stand against youth homelessness.

A couple of the particpants shared their thoughts upon touching down on terra firma.

"I'm still buzzing. Best thing ever and so proud of doing it for such an amazing charity!"

"It really was an incredible experience, and to know that I was helping such a great cause makes it all the more better!"

Katy Day-Jones, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at Step by Step, commented: “We are incredibly grateful to our amazing corporate partners and their fearless staff who took on this unforgettable challenge. Their courage, commitment, and heart were on full display as they literally leapt from the skies! Thank you for making such a powerful impact and helping to create brighter futures for young people.”

A huge thank you to our brave jumpers from Croudace Homes, Premier Miton Investors and Gleeson Land. Well done everyone!
