We are delighted to announce that Keith Gathergood has won a Hart Chairman’s Volunteer Recognition Award. The scheme recognises volunteers who have made a significant contribution to the community during 2022.
As the Chair of our Board of Trustees, Keith has held a key role in the charity for many years, overseeing numerous changes and considerable growth in the organisation. Keith has been genuinely committed to Step by Step and its mission, giving up his own time to be an integral part of our journey.
Certificates were presented at an awards event at the Elvetham Hotel, Fleet on 20th April. Keith accepted his award with his customary humility.
Step by Step CEO, Debbie Moreton, commented: “It was an absolute pleasure to watch Keith accept his award tonight, representing the countless voluntary hours he has devoted to making a difference.
“Keith has shown tremendous dedication to Step by Step over the years, working with the Leadership Team in leading projects and initiatives that have impacted many people’s lives. His work has been instrumental in enriching Hart and its local communities, and his unwavering commitment to Step by Step is admirable.”
Congratulations to Keith for receiving this very well-deserved recognition.
We are proud to announce the opening of our new move-on property in Bedhampton. This home will support up to four young people aged 18 and over, many of whom might otherwise be left waiting on housing lists, homeless, or relying on a friend’s sofa.
The Bedhampton property is the third Step by Step move-on home – a unique accommodation model for young people ready to move on with their lives but with no viable housing options available to them.
