Step by Step Nominated for Multiple Awards

Step by Step are finalists in no less than three categories in this year’s National Children & Young People Awards!

The awards celebrate excellence in care for children, young people and families, showcase innovation and best practice in this area, and pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who excel in quality care provision.

Step by Step have four places among the finalists, across three award categories. These are:

  • Kelly Headen, Head of Fostering and Supported Lodgings, and Stevie Hodder – The Leaving Care Award
  • Debbie Moreton, Step by Step CEO – The Leaving Care Award
  • Keith Gathergood, Step by Step Trustee – The Outstanding Contribution to Social Care Award
  • Mae Harris and the Supported Accommodation Team – The Supported Accommodation Award

We are delighted to have been nominated for these awards. This recognition is testament to the hard work and passion of our incredible team.

Of course, it would be even better if we won, so please wish us luck and we will keep you updated!

Step by Step Opens Bedhampton Move-On House

Bedhampton House Upscaled

We are proud to announce the opening of our new move-on property in Bedhampton. This home will support up to four young people aged 18 and over, many of whom might otherwise be left waiting on housing lists, homeless, or relying on a friend’s sofa.

The Bedhampton property is the third Step by Step move-on home – a unique accommodation model for young people ready to move on with their lives but with no viable housing options available to them.
