- £31,000 per annum.
- 37.5 Hours per week fixed time contract. With one weekend per month required, as well as 2/3 evenings per week.
- This is a community based hybrid role. With travel around the community and to the Head office in Aldershot.

Step by Step passionately believes in supporting young people who are going through hard times. Our unique step by step approach, providing accommodation, personal development opportunities and specialist support services, identifies and fulfils aspirations.
Each year we work with over 1,300 young people aged 11–25 and our employees play a pivotal role in empowering young people and preventing homelessness.
WHAT WOULD A CHARITY CHAMPION BE DOING?
This role requires travel around your patch representing Step by Step in the community. You will be attending events, community meetings and creating a buzz about a charity transforming hundreds of young lives each year. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated self-starter, with previous experience in a sales, account management or fundraising role.
- The role is a community-based role.
- Having a car is essential for the role.
- You will undertake advertising activities for example, attending county shows and community groups/meetings.
- Raising awareness of what we do, to encourage the community's support and to raise awareness of our services for young people.
- Encourage individual giving or creating a fundraising leads.
- Encouraging someone to become a foster carer or supported lodgings host.
- The role would also be responsible for recruiting, engaging and managing volunteers.
WHAT IS STEP BY STEP LOOKING FOR?
- To have excellent communication and networking skills.
- Experience in account management or a relationship development role.
- Has a full driving licence, business class insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- As we follow the safer recruitment guidelines applicants are required to complete a short online application form.
