Supported Lodgings and Fostering Christmas Afternoon Tea, Basingstoke
3 December 2026
Go The Distance is a fun and easy way to support Step by Step. Challenge yourself to cover the distance between our Accommodation Foyers. Whatever distance you choose, run, walk, cycle or swim to support young people facing homelessness.
Choose your preferred distance:
Or any combination of the above. Then it's up to you when and how you Go The Distance! Just remember to get sponsored to help change young lives.
Nearly six in ten young people who present to their local authority as homeless or at risk of homelessness do not get a positive outcome. At Step by Step, we accommodate up to 279 young people at any given time at one of our four Accommodation Foyers, or in Supported Lodgings, across our catchment area.
It’s up to you! Spread your distance across a week, a month, or even the whole year.
The good news is, there is no entry fee, so you can focus on your challenge and raising vital funds for Step by Step.
Plan your distance, how you’re going to cover the distance, and over what timeframe.
Visit our JustGiving page to start fundraising, and share the news of your challenge with friends and family.
