Join us for an afternoon tea, our quarterly get-together for current and prospective hosts and foster carers. No commitment, just cake, conversation and honest answers.
RSVPWhether you already host or foster with us, or you are just starting to think about it, our afternoon teas are for you. Every quarter, we bring together current hosts, foster carers, people considering it for the first time, and our team, over tea and cake. It is a relaxed chance to ask questions, hear real experiences, and connect with others on the same path, with no commitment either way.
Every afternoon tea is a little different, but you can generally expect:
If you are weighing up whether hosting or fostering is right for you, there's no substitute for hearing from people who are already doing it. You will get honest answers about what is involved, what support looks like, and what surprised people once they started, and there is no expectation to sign up on the day.
If you already host or foster with us, our afternoon teas are just as much for you. It is a chance to connect with others doing the same thing, swap experiences, meet the wider Step by Step team informally, and spend time with the people considering joining you.
