Basingstoke is already home to one of our Foyers and our move-on accommodation. Local hosts are part of the same journey to independence. With eight hours on the stand, there’s plenty of time to take on our challenge.
Can you build a safe home when the odds keep shifting? Stack your bricks, spin the wheel and see what gets in your way. It takes a few minutes, and it shows the barriers young people face when they’re trying to find a stable place to live.
Supported lodgings hosts offer a young person aged 16 to 24 a room in their home and everyday support while they build towards living independently. We recruit, train and support every host, and hosts receive an allowance. Step by Step is the UK’s leading supported lodgings provider and is Ofsted registered.
