Live music, fundraising and festival fun came together in the summer sunshine with the return of the ever-popular MossStock.
Step by Step was once again the beneficiary of the event, with an incredible £5,000 raised to support young people facing homelessness.
MossStock – described as a festival of love, peace, family and friends – began nine years ago in honour of local artist Steve Moss, celebrating his life while bringing together the community.
Every year, The Snow Goose Pub in Farnborough is transformed into a mini festival site, with live music, food and drink, and activities for children. The result is an amazing family atmosphere, with over 500 people attending throughout the day and evening.
Owner and event organiser, Kate Hayden, told us about the man the event remembered. “Steve was quite unique. He was a very artistic character. Just an all-round nice guy.”
Steve’s brother, Terry Moss, reflected on how much the festival has grown over the years. “Now it’s such a massive community thing... and it’s everyone’s friends and family. It’s just so nice to see so many happy people.”
A huge thank you to Kate, Terry and everyone at The Snow Goose for supporting Step by Step. The funds raised will help young people leave homelessness behind them and work towards positive futures.

We welcome the PM's announcement. The funding matters, the urgency matters, and a government willing to say plainly that no one should sleep in a doorway is good news.
But if we are serious about ending rough sleeping, we cannot only wait until someone is already on the streets. We have to stop them getting there in the first place.
