No prior experience is required. We’re looking for people with empathy, patience and a safe, stable home. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

In most cases, yes. Young people can usually refer themselves using our online form, and so can parents, carers or professionals.
If you are aged 11–18 and live in Hampshire, you’ll need to refer via Hampshire Youth Access for counselling. For everything else, our referral form or Step Chat is a great place to start.
Yes. Our services are free to young people aged 11 to 25, but availability depends on where you live. Most support is available across Hampshire and Surrey, with some services extending into Dorset, Wiltshire, West Berkshire and West Sussex.
