We are delighted to announce that our Opportunities Fund is to receive a considerable boost, thanks to a generous grant from SC Johnson.
SC Johnson, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of household cleaning and other consumer and professional products, is donating an incredible £4,400 to one of Step by Step’s key services. The Opportunities Fund is used to purchase a wide range of items that help young people make positive progress. This includes bicycles for commuting to work, laptops for college assignments, and exercise equipment to promote health and well-being.
The funding from SC Johnson will increase the capacity of this service in Surrey, enabling more young people to overcome barriers to progression and leave homelessness behind them.

This donation to our Opportunities Fund will make a real, lasting difference in the lives of young people facing homelessness. This support is not just financial – it’s a powerful investment in young futures.”
Step by Step’s Opportunities Fund supported over 149 young people last year, helping them to overcome challenges, pursue education and employment opportunities, and take confident steps towards independence.
