Meet the dedicated team working to transform young lives.
Senga is a Support Worker in our Launch service, supporting young people with advice, guidance and wellbeing sessions. We found out more about her role, and how she helps those who have not got off to the best start in life.
Georgie is the Recruitment and Retention Lead for our Supported Lodgings and fostering services, helping to find and support the hosts and foster carers who make a life changing difference to young people. She shared some brilliant insight into her role, what inspires her, and why she loves being part of the Step by Step team.
Jayne is a Placement Coordinator for our Supported Lodgings service and has been with Step by Step for over 17 years. In that time, she has seen many changes in the charity. We find out more about her thoughts and experience.
Rachel is a Placement Co-ordinator for our Supported Lodgings service, working alongside hosts and the young people they support. She shared some fantastic insight into her role, what motivates her, and why she feels an affinity for young people in crisis.
Kelly Headen is the Head of Fostering and Supported Lodgings. We interviewed Kelly to find out more about her and her passion for supporting young people. "It’s like an extended family to me. I live and breathe what the charity believes in."
Sarah Faulkner is Registered Manager of Step by Step Fostering. We caught up with her to find out what her role entails and what inspired her to work in a caring profession.
Matthew has been a community fundraising volunteer at Step by Step for a number of years. He meets with schools, churches and other groups to raise awareness and essential funds.
