Get in TouchCommunity fundraising is one of the most powerful ways a group can take a stand against youth homelessness. It brings people together around something that matters, whether that's a school, a congregation, or a club. Groups tell us it reconnects them with each other as much as it supports young people.
Every pound raised by our community fundraisers goes towards the practical, everyday things that help young people build independent lives, not just get through crisis.

Could fund several one-to-one life skills sessions, helping young people build confidence in budgeting, cooking, managing bills and preparing for employment.
Could go towards emergency accommodation for a young person facing homelessness, ensuring they have somewhere safe to stay while longer term plans are put in place.
Could pay for employability mentoring and training sessions for a number of young people, equipping them with CV support, interview preparation and the confidence to secure sustainable work
"Behind every young person rebuilding their life, there’s someone who believed in them. When our community get behind us by fundraising, they often come up with brilliant and varied ways to do so.
We've had people growing vegetables, hosting coffee mornings and raffles, model railways exhibitions, and clothing exchange parties. Each has brought a lot of enjoyment as well as essential funds.

Club quiz night or raffle
A firm favourite with WI, Lions and Rotary groups: book a hall, set a quiz, and make an evening of it. A raffle can add to the atmosphere and the total raised, but if you're planning one, speak to Anna first; raffles and prize draws have their own rules, and we'll help you run yours the right way.
School non-uniform day or bake sale
Simple, low-effort and a firm favourite with schools. Swap the uniform for a donation, or fill the hall with cakes at break time. It works just as well as a one-off as it does built into your school calendar year on year, and it's an easy way to get pupils talking about youth homelessness in an age-appropriate way.
Coffee morning
Easy to arrange and take part in. Get your group together for a friendly fundraiser, fueled by hot drinks and cake. Ask for donations from those taking part. Why not make it a regular thing? A highlight on the calendar for everyone to look forward to.
Sleep Out Under the Stars
Assemble your group and experience the challenge of sleeping outdoors in a sponsored sleep out. It's a brilliant fit for schools, clubs, staff teams and older students: giving an insight and genuine taste of what it means to go without a bed for a night, in solidarity with the young people we support.

Your donation helps fund vital services including supported accommodation, counselling, and skills programmes for young people aged 16 to 25. It ensures they have the stability and support they need to build brighter futures.
