Launch is a free advice and guidance service offering dedicated one-to-one support for young people aged 11-25. Young people in six counties can access support for a wide range of issues, including housing, wellbeing, sexual health and substance misuse.
Please note: Launch cannot offer emergency accommodation. However, we are able to offer housing advice and sign-post to available services.
We offer a free, confidential advice and support service for anyone aged 11-25 living in Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex, Dorset, Swindon & Wiltshire. We offer in-person or remote appointments depending on your location. We are here to listen, offer guidance and provide practical support on a number of issues.
Housing Options and Advice (18-25)
Our team can help you explore your housing options. This could mean signposting you to your local housing authority, referring you to appropriate supported accommodation provider or supporting you to access the private rented sector.
We can help you resolve any disputes that may arise in your existing accommodation with support from our trained mediators.
Wellbeing (11-25)
We can help you to make and develop connections, access specialist services, learn positive coping strategies and support you to thrive. We aim to help you develop your confidence and support you to manage your challenges.
Drugs and Alcohol Recovery (13-25)
We can help if you are experiencing difficulties with drugs or alcohol. We help you to gain awareness about drugs and alcohol issues, support you to make informed choices, and give you the skills you need to tackle the problems you might be facing.
Sexual Health (13-25)
Staff are trained in giving you sexual health advice, the distribution of condoms, pregnancy tests and much more.
One to One Support (11-25)
There is access to a youth support worker who can help you with a variety of issues including: accessing employment or education, emotional well-being, alcohol and substance misuse support. We aim to support your emotional resilience, raising aspirations and helping you achieve your goals.
Access to Food Parcels
We can distribute food parcels, sanitary items and toiletries to those who are in need.
Access to Internet/Computer
We can also give you access to a computer to complete tasks such as CV writing, checking emails or completing job applications.
Support Accessing Benefits
We can assist you in understanding benefits and help guide you through claiming benefits online.
